At 6:30pm, author Kirstin Valdez Quade will read in the Zenith Room (640) of the Tivoli Student Union on the Auraria Campus.
KIRSTIN VALDEZ QUADE is the author of Night at the Fiestas, a New York Times Notable Book, which received a “5 Under 35” award from the National Book Foundation, the John Leonard Prize from the National Book Critics Circle, the Sue Kaufman Prize from the American Academy of Arts & Letters, and was a finalist for the New York Public Library Young Lions Award. Her work has appeared in the New Yorker, the Best American Short Stories anthology, the O. Henry Prize Stories anthology, the New York Times, and elsewhere. A former Stegner Fellow at Stanford, she now teaches at Princeton.
